Mission Statement

Maple Heights Adult Activities Center and HeARTworks are subsidiaries of the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. As an integral member of the community our mission is to assist individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities in choosing and achieving a life of increasing capability such that they can live, learn, work and play in the community and to assist and support families in achieving this objective.

HeARTworks Handmade Greeting Cards is dedicated to promoting and supporting the work of artists with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
